Cassiano Ricardo Golos Teixeira
My name is Cassiano Ricardo Golos Teixeira, I am graduated in Law (2003) and specialised in Intellectual Property Law (2004). My hometown is Curitiba, Brazil.
During my studies and work, I have emphasized trademark and technological transfer studies, in special global treaties related these areas, as Madrid Protocol and Trips. In the course of specialization in Intellectual Property, I have been working on Trade Dress studies, delineating a comparative study relating Brazil and other countries, such as United States, Italy and Canada.
I have been working with Intellectual Property topics for about five years (2002-2007), producing some texts and making some speeches, before starting the LL.M. Program at Torino. My studies at Torino turned to Ambush Marketing.
After Torino 2007, I’ve started to work with other areas of Intellectual Property, as Copyright, Unfair Competition and mostly Competition Law.
There was a substantial increase in the number of invites to give lectures regarding IP matters in companies and industrial associations.
Finally, I started to dedicate some time to “pro bono” advocacy, mostly related to Trademark Registrations and Trademarks related to Bankruptcy.
Best Regards,
Cassiano Ricardo Golos Teixeira
